Hotel Voco Strasbourg Centre – The Garden

The Voco Strasbourg Centre – The Garden hotel is as the name indicates situated in the heart of Strasbourg.

Whether you’re in Strasbourg for a visit or for work, this hotel is perfectly located: Only a few minutes from the European Parliament and Archipel-Wacken business district by bus.
And if you want to visit Strasbourg you’re close to the famous Cathedral and the cozy Petite France on the Grande Île (a UNESCO heritage).

The Voco Hotel is an extremely charming hotel ; made in a contemporary style, with an ecological spirit.

Surrounded by tropical plants, green walls and a sealing filled with small lights looking like stars… just like being in a beautiful garden.

And to prolong the nature feeling, there are litteraly two beautiful garden terraces attached to the hotel. The perfect place to enjoy a drink or coffee.

I stayed in an amazing room, furnished with natural materials, a quality bed, plus a room a part with an extra sofa…not to forget the stylish bathroom with powerful showers. It was great.

I even had a private terrace!

After having enjoyed the room I went down to the spa. From the moment I opened the door I was swept away by the beauty of this place.

The changing rooms were classy and the spa area in itself was magical: with star lights in the sealing, a beautiful blue pool and chairs that looked like mussel shells.

A real coherence in design and also with the indirect promise of the name of the hotel ‘the garden’. The spa also included a hammam. A real cocoon and the perfect place to relax.

At the Voco Strasbourg hotel there is also a fitness area. Unfortunately I didnt have enough time to try it.

The restaurant

In the evening I went down to dine at their cozy restaurant.

Before I’ll tell you about the dinner I have to say that “their pina colada Virgin was amazing ”!!!

As a starter I tried the ‘salmon cheesecake’. Shortbread with pink berries and herbs cream, salmon gravlax. It was really good.

For the main-course I had a tasty beef sirloinsteak wity a cream of butternut, garlic and gingerbread condiment, plus breese butter popcorn. Delicious and tasty.

The dessert was also extremely good. I tasted the chocolate dessert with caramel and hazelnut. It was sooooo good…a must try!

And the Apple dessert! Delicious.

Breakfast

After having slept like a queen it was time for breakfast. The Voco Strasbourg Centre – the garden hotel had everything I could possibly dream of for breakfast.

I had a fabulous time at the Voco strasbourg centre – the garden hotel and can’t wait to come back. So when you visit Strasbourg next time, dont hesitate staying at this hotel…you’ll love it.
