Georges restaurant, amazing views over Paris

Did you know that on the top of the Centre Pompidou in Paris you’ll find one of the most amazing views over the city, from within the Georges restaurant? Have a sneakpeak here.
When visiting Paris you have most probably already visited the Centre Pompidou; an amazing museum with various great expositions! But if you take the glass-enclosed escalator all the way to the top, you’ll find the Georges Restaurant, that offers an upscale dining experience with panoramic views of Paris.
I personally love restaurants with stunning views, and if you succeed in getting a table next to the window, the Georges restaurant is definitely on my top 10 list of favorite Parisian restaurants with a view.
I went there in the evening, just in time to sit back, enjoy the sunset and soak in the Parisian skyline.
Georges restaurant is known for its modern French cuisine with an international twist.
I would not say its the most refined dining experience, but the Salmon was delicious and then again, there is just something magical about dining above the rooftops of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in sight.
I definetely recommand you try their drinks. The ones I tested were way over standard.
The ambiance is ultra-modern and chic, with a silver pod-like interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows.
A calm, reflective meal above the city.
A moment to actually feel Paris, rather than just see it through the lens of tourism.
Final Thoughts: Georges Is More Than Just a Restaurant
While the Pompidou is undoubtedly a must-see for art lovers, Georges Restaurant offers a unique way to appreciate the beauty and culture of Paris — through food, atmosphere, and a view you’ll never forget.
If you’re torn between the two, know that Georges isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. One that, in my case, I’d absolutely choose again.
